Slitch is a tool for manipulation of the audio files. Any recording it can turn into a set of percussions, glitches, or even scratches.

SoundEditor does not offer all the advanced functions of some of the other audio editor available, but does work extremely quickly and has the added bonus of working straight after downloading, without having to install the software to the Windows registry. It does not support VST plugins and so lacks expandability of effects, but does include a basic wave synthesizer, resampling, filters, sound recorder and fading amongst othr standard functions SoundEditor.exe does'nt need any installation or accessory. Sound Engine Free does not offer as many features as some of the other audio editors available, most notably lacking VST support so it is not easily expandable with the large number of free plugins available. However, it is a very robust and stable program that does all the basics of recording, cutting and pasting audio very well and quite quickly. It also does feature the standard effects built in and can batch process volume adjustment automatically which can be useful.
