Ambient Space I (free)

Ambient Space I is focused on extremely long ambient samples. Sample lengths range from 30 seconds to over 2 minutes! Convolution, timestretching, FFT analysis, additive resynthesis and more were used in their creation. Armed with these samples, composing your next ambient opus or soundtrack will be simple. The Reason Refill contains:

Balloon Drum for Kontakt (free)

Because of the environment of Kontakt 4 is quite different with Reason. So the samples layers and structures and performance were tuned very different. Most of the patches are brand new tones! Something I didn’t try in Reason but done well in Kontakt 4.

I eventually gave up the KSP Script for those patches. The reason is, I couldn’t see that KSP can be essentially helpful to the character of these root archive patches for getting more variations like that. But I left the access to you all and you may wildly do more as you like.

Bathroom Ensemble (free)

Bathroom Ensemble is a free sample library for Kontakt.

"I am pleased to present my first free Kontakt sample library, Bathroom Ensemble, a collection of 8 different household objects, put through processing to create a “bathroom” (or small warehouse) type sound. As this is my first library, it has a few kinks, but most instruments are sampled at 4+ velocity layers with 8+ key range.

The recording process for this library was rather strange. I own a very cheap (under $10) microphone, which sounds pretty terrible, and just about the noisiest house known to humanity. I figured out a post-processing method where I used a noise remover and gate to rid the recording of as much background noise as possible, then applied Roomworks reverb at 100% mix, removing the background noise completely, and giving the samples a roomy (bathroom) feel."

CableDrum (freeware)

Sound recorded by CFA.

CableDrum is a free collection of 32 sounds for minimal & tech-house.

This small soundset is mainly aligned on minimal and tech-house. It contains knocking drums & percussion, raw basses, a few exoctic groove-sequences and silky but also scruffy synthsounds. And the best at the end – it`s for free!
